Breckenridge, Keystone & Summit County Ski Shuttle Guide
Summit County puts four big ski areas within a short drive of each other: Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin. A private shuttle gets your group there from Denver without the rental-car hassle.
Quick facts
- DistanceRoughly 80-100 miles from Denver depending on the resort
- Typical driveAbout 1.5 to 2 hours in clear weather
- RouteI-70 west to Silverthorne or Frisco, then Highway 9 or US-6
- Good to knowArapahoe Basin is reached over Loveland Pass on US-6 when it is open
One shuttle, four resorts
Summit County is the easiest big-mountain trip from Denver. Many groups stay in Breckenridge or Keystone and ski a different mountain each day. With a private Sprinter or SUV on call, you can do exactly that without anyone driving after a long ski day.
Day trips vs. full-week transfers
- Day trip from Denver: early pickup, a full day on the slopes, dinner in Frisco or Breckenridge, and a ride home. Plan on the 4-hour minimum or more.
- Airport transfer: DIA to your condo on arrival, and back on departure. Ideal for out-of-state ski groups.
- Resort hopping: book your chauffeur for the day and move between Keystone, Breck and Copper as the snow dictates.

The same I-70 corridor rules apply here as on the way to Vail: Colorado’s traction law is in effect from September through May and storms can bring closures at the tunnels. Loveland Pass on US-6 can close in heavy snow. Your chauffeur checks conditions before pickup and picks the safest route.
Which vehicle fits?
For a bachelor ski weekend, a Sprinter limo van keeps the group together with room for gear. Families often choose a black SUV. School ski clubs, church groups and corporate outings use a motor coach. Every trip is quoted as a FREE custom estimate based on the vehicle, date, hours and route. Most bookings have a 4-hour minimum; prom, homecoming and high-season weekends have a 6-hour minimum.
