Red Rocks adds new shows all through the winter and spring. We update this calendar as shows are announced, and past dates drop off on their own.

Getting to Red Rocks: the rules that matter for groups

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is at 18300 W. Alameda Parkway in Morrison, in the foothills west of Denver. Without traffic it’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown, but show traffic on the canyon roads can easily double that. Here’s what the venue’s own Getting Here page says, in plain words:

• Limos and shuttle buses drop off at the Top Circle Lot, the closest drop-off to the stage. Limos may also use Upper North when Traffic Control allows it.
• Party buses and anything wider than 6’5″ count as oversized. They must drop off, pick up and park in Lower South Lot 2.
• Groups of 24 or more in one vehicle that’s at least 85% full can request Upper North. Reservations close 48 hours before the show and aren’t guaranteed. We handle the request for you.
• Vehicle entry ends at 8:30 pm. After that, pickups happen at the Jurassic Lot. We plan your pickup time around the cutoff.
• The climb is real. The venue sits at about 6,450 feet, and the walk from the lower lots is steep. Bring water and a layer, because nights cool off fast.

Which vehicle fits your Red Rocks night?

• 2–6 people: a black SUV. Fast, discreet and gets you to the Top Circle drop-off.
• 9–16 people: a Sprinter limo. Our most popular Red Rocks choice: limo seating and lighting with a small footprint.
• 10–20 people: a stretch limo, for birthdays, bachelorette groups and anniversaries.
• 20–50 people: a party bus, for company outings, bachelor groups and big friend groups. It’s one pickup, so nobody drives home.

Where do limos and party buses drop off at Red Rocks?

Under Red Rocks’ official rules, limos and shuttle buses drop off at the Top Circle Lot, or at Upper North when Traffic Control allows it. Party buses and any vehicle wider than 6’5″ are oversized, so they must drop off and pick up in Lower South Lot 2. Our chauffeurs follow these rules on every show night.

Is there a vehicle cutoff time at Red Rocks?

Yes. Red Rocks stops vehicle entry at 8:30 pm, or earlier at staff discretion. After that, pickups move to the Jurassic Lot. Book a pickup time that gets you in before the cutoff, especially if you want to see the opener.

How much is a party bus to Red Rocks?

Can we tailgate at Red Rocks?

Red Rocks allows tailgating behind your own vehicle only. Tents, generators, amplified sound and open flames aren’t allowed, and full-strength beer and wine are allowed but hard liquor, kegs and glass aren’t. Rules can change, so check the venue’s FAQ before the show.

When should we book a ride for a 2027 Red Rocks show?

As soon as you have tickets. Weekend shows, two-night runs and May–September dates book first, because every group in the metro wants the same nights.
